Trellis Bay Estate
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Trellis Bay Estate | British Virgin Islands
Trellis Bay Estate represents the last significant development site in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). The property’s 663 freehold acres cover the vast majority of Beef Island, which is connected by bridge to the capital island of Tortola. The extensive water frontage around the estate encompasses a range of bays, anchorages and habitats, providing opportunities for highly-desirable oceanfront development. In 2007, the project was approved for a 200-room resort, 18-hole golf course, 200-slip marina and 600 residential units. Four tenants currently operate businesses on Trellis Bay, Bellamy Cay and Bluff Bay. Situated immediately south and east of the BVI’s international airport, Trellis Bay Estate is centrally located within the British Virgin Islands. This central location next to the airport makes it an ideal anchorage for yachts chartering in the BVI and resorts on the outer islands needing to access the airport via the docks in Trellis Bay.
